We take the Pan-American Highway towards the city of Alajuela, seeing the Agriculturist, the Monument to Juan Santamaria and the famous Mango Park. In the ascent to the volcano we stop for a brief explanation on our golden bean, coffee, and then continue our trip through fern, flowers and strawberries.
La Paz Waterfalls Gardens, a rain forest park that provides its visitors a great variety of activities. The main attraction is the panoramic viewpoints of five magnificent waterfalls that feed La Paz River. Another attraction is the hummingbird’s garden, where you will see many of these masters of the art of flying, feeding and flying in all directions. This place has one of the world’s largest butterfly gardens, an orchid collection, snake and frog exhibits, a traditional country house, Trout Lake and a bird observatory.
